Dr. Saldivar is a native of Elsa, Texas, and has dedicated the last 20 years to assisting first-year students as they transition to university life. He is an experienced facilitator and public speaker, actively engaging with diverse audiences including students, faculty, and parents. With a focus on career readiness education, Dr. Saldivar also provides college admissions consulting and test preparation services. He holds a BA and MA from Stanford University, along with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from UT Austin.

Ms. Sofia Montero is passionate about helping students achieve career readiness education and pursue their dreams, leading a life filled with intent and purpose.

Mr. Jaime Mancha is a native Texan, born and raised in Hidalgo County in deep south Texas. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he earned a B.A. in Communication and a Master’s degree in Counseling & Guidance from The University of Texas – Pan American with a focus in School Counseling. He is currently completing a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he also contributes to career readiness education. Mr. Mancha’s scholarly areas of interest include issues impacting first-generation students of color and accessibility for college students with disabilities. With over 20 years of combined experience in K-12 and higher education, he is now a lecturer in the Learning Framework Program at UTRGV, providing valuable insights for college admissions consulting and test preparation services. Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful family, including his wife, Lisa, and their kids: Michael, Victoria, Anthony, and Ryan.
